Salute Ristorante Italiano opened in 1996 under the management of John Sheehan, and was voted New Times Magazine "Best of Phoenix" for Italian food & "Arizona's Best Italian Restaurant" by the Arizona Republic! John and his wife Nancy later left AZ and moved to Durango Colorado where they currently own and operate a Steak and Seafood restaurant called The Red Snapper. Due to management issues at Salute in 2008, John and Nancy purchased Salute Restaurant and have since brought back the fantastic food and service that the neighborhood of Moon Valley had come to know, love and appreciate. Come enjoy our authentic Italian favorites in a romantic setting that is also family friendly.
